so class, we've got a problem. a clique problem and a teacher problem.
but i think the first one is more important.

we have cliques. inevitable, unavoidable.

we have different interests which is mainly the brick wall between us.

we're not as comfortable as we are talking to someone from the other clan than to one of our members.

many feel the problem is we don't mix around.

i think thats PART of the problem. i think the main problem is some of us are just not open.

there doesnt necessarily have to be a barrier between us but some people just automatically perceive there WILL be. which is rubbish.

when you're told you're going to be with a certain someone from a certain other clan, some people just go "eh i dowwan leh. i dowwan be in their group eh. talk about smart/music/sports/lame/ stuff i won't understand,"

see i think THATS the problem. you automatically think someone will be a certain way.

i think we should be more open.

no doubt, we would have varying interests.

no doubt, we won't be able to connect at a certain level, but when you close yourself to someone just like that, you're not giving that person AND yourself a chance; a chance to get to know each other better, see what that other person's all about, see if you guys share anything in common. a chance to be FRIENDS.

now thats just attitude okay everyone, ATTITUDE.

yes, sometimes what we perceive to be of a person apparently IS how that person turns out to be. when an MEP girl is in a group of Sports people she would expect tension and awkwardness. even I would.

but that is not the point.

the point is to TRY.

and this is going to be a class effort.

a hell of a class effort.

okay guys? because we're hurting each other's feelings. and that aint right. we're lying to ourselves that we are united. and that aint right. we CHOSE our class motto to be twogether two the end and we're not living it. and that aint right.

i cant say this enough.
