hi all
you're welcome santa
oh here's the homework again
there's math, but you'll have to ask someone else, i'm terrible at the stuff.
for eng, we have a mini project in which you're supposed to find one book from your genre, find the diff types of vocab (emotive, descrpitive) and compile it with the rest of your group and hand it up on tues.
geog we did transform fault plate movements. the plates slide against each other and cause earthquakes. don't really rmb much. later we got back our papers. argh
there's chem. balancing equations. i give you simple example.

H2 + O2 = H2O

that's wrong, right? cos there's an extra O unaccounted for. so what we need to do is...:

2H2 + O2 = 2H2O

Now all the atoms are accounted for. Basically you just add numbers in front so that there are the same amount of atoms on the left and on the right. you're not supposed to add the small numbers behind because it means that the atoms are chemically bonded. E.g.

H2 is two hydrogen atoms bonded together
2H is two hydrogen atoms whizzing around by themselves, NOT bonded together.

There's a worksheet. Forty questions. i think that's all. you can call if there's anything else.
